New perspectives.

Last week found me on the road for my client, the International PR firm--Citizen Relations--this time heading up to a few of their Canadian offices in Montréal and Toronto.  Although I didn't have much time at all to see much of either city, I was able to catch glimpses here and there.

Like landing at the City airport in Toronto and taking the short (really short) ferry ride across the channel to the city.  Such a great first glimpse of the city of Toronto.  Walking thru a little bit of the city to the CN Tower and taking the obligatory photo.  And talking to the fabulous Canadians that I photographed gave me a little bit of a picture of what it was like to be Canadian.

I also got to see my own country and state from a different perspective--several of my subjects had recently been to California--flying into San Francisco and driving a car down the coast to San Diego.  As they described their trips, I felt like I was seeing my home with brand new eyes.  It gave me such a new perspective and appreciation for this place I call home.

And that perhaps was the most valuable thing of all.
